Artwork by real people, photography by us, good books, unique furnishings and little treasures around every corner. This is your artsy Aunt's home that you'll never want to leave. We have two delicious homes for you to choose from: ocean-side in Wildwood, and bay-side in the Villas. Each is designed with your experience in mind: joy, connection, rejuvenation.

We never accept bookings if we're out of town. We take care of every aspect of our guest experience ourselves, backed by a professional cleaning team. And from linens to beach chairs, we provide what most rentals still make you bring yourself.

    She's Yvonne. He's Nik. The cutie's Zissou.

    What do you get when you bring together a marketing professional with deep experience in travel and hospitality, and a five-star massage therapist? A vacation experience thoughtfully designed to make you feel cared for.

    Before meeting Nik, Yvonne passionately solo-traveled through 50-something countries, staying in homes, hostels, luxury hotels...you name it. Meanwhile, when Nik wasn't in Avalon, he was catching waves in some of the world's most far-flung destinations. Since we met (on Instagram!) we've criss-crossed America on long road trips, Zissou in tow, greedily eating our way through glittering cities and sleepy small towns. We obviously love to travel, and we started Bougie Beach Bums to share our love of travel and making friends of strangers with you.

    Our homes feel extra inviting because they're always our own personal home first. We live in them, work on them, and thoughtfully shape them project by project into what you see today. These are not flip or investment houses—they've always been filled with love, laughter, and life. Whether you choose bay-side or ocean-side, we hope you feel that warmth during your stay.

    • The Villas Rental: A tranquil 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom bayside retreat located 3 houses from the Delaware Bay beach in Villas, New Jersey. Features include a private covered porch with sunset views, a convenient kitchenette (microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker), and a peaceful neighborhood vibe. Accommodates up to 4 guests (1 king bed, 1 full bed).

    Both boutique rental properties include bed linens, bath towels, beach chairs, beach towels, and toiletries. Guests who book direct skip third-party platform fees from Airbnb and Vrbo plus taxes to secure the guaranteed lowest pricing and direct communication with the owners.
